The Five Best Vietnamese Universities in 2022 Ranked by U.S. News & World Reports

The US News & World Reports magazine has just announced the 2022 Best Global Universities rankings. Vietnam increased its participation from four to five institutions this year, namely: Duy Tan University; Ton Duc Thang University; Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh city; Vietnam National University in Hanoi; and the Hanoi University of Science & Technology. 

 

Three of those Vietnamese universities increased their rankings this year, with Ton Duc Thang University going from 623 to 387; Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City 1,271 to 1,187; Vietnam National University in Hanoi 949 to 938, while the Hanoi University of Science & Technology dropped from 1,356 to 1,449. Duy Tan University entered at 577.

Four Vietnamese universities ranked in Material Sciences

 

It was also reported that 26 of Top 50 universities worldwide were in North America. European institutions made up another third, including Oxford and Cambridge Universities in the UK, ranked in the Top 10 worldwide, and seven other countries were listed in the Top 50 European rankings, in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. 

 

Tsinghua University in China, National University of Singapore in Singapore and King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia were ranked among the Top 50 universities worldwide.
